CoMeTas was present at Euromembrane 2009 in Montpellier, France, along with other ceramic membrane producers.
One of the major topics was abrasion resistant membranes. According to other manufacturers, improvements have been made to other ceramic membranes, where abrasion is being tested with silicon carbide particles. The hardness of silicon carbide apparently makes it a good choice to challenge the materials and prove the hardness.
We’ve taken it a step further and manufactured the membrane itself in silicon carbide – with unmatched resistance, durability and flux.
