CoMem is a ceramic membrane element and is our cross-flow solution for filtration of liquids with a high amount of suspended solids. The membrane substrates as well as the coating are made from Silicon Carbide. CoMem combines the material characteristics of silicon carbide with a cross-flow structure to handle higher amounts of suspended solids.
The Silicon Carbide material gives the membrane some unique advantages. It is chemically inert, temperature resistant, has a high hydrophilicity and the extreme hardness of the material makes it very durable.
CoMem can be applied in e.g. processing of industrial waste water, produced water and pretreatment of drinking water, including RO.
We have recently increased our focus on Produced Water because of excellent results in this field. Download our paper on Produced Water here.
CoMem has shown impressive results in several applications. We are therefore happy to work with you and solve your filtration problems using our CoMem membranes. Please see Innovation & Technology for more details on our testing and development facilities.
